Puppy Guarantee

During the puppy’s stay with Just Paws Pets, it is in the best of hands. Our veterinarians are in the stores once a week and we place each individual puppy on their own health care programs. This means vaccinations against viral diseases, dewormings, anti-parasitic baths and anything else that the puppies may need. The puppies are weighed and temperatures are taken several times during their stay with us. They are also fed the highest of quality food. All the puppies have a few toys, are groomed daily, and are taken out for socialization as much as possible (without being stressful to the puppy) by our health care professionals.

By choosing a Just Paws Pets’ puppy, you are guaranteed a happy healthy puppy. Your new companion is vet checked at least 3 times before you receive the puppy. They are checked by the breeder before leaving their homes, checked again by a vet once we receive them from the breeders and finally checked again the day before leaving for their new homes.

We try to give the puppies the best possible start. We take no short cuts in our vaccinations and preventative medications. Your puppy will be vaccinated against canine parainfluenza – bordetella, parvovirus, distemper, hepatitis, and canine influenza. We also put all the puppies on deworming programs just in case the breeders missed anything. We guarantee the health of the puppy for the first 15 days and guarantee for a year against any hereditary or congenital disorders that may interfere with the puppy’s ability to live a normal life (make sure to take the puppy to your vet within 3 days of receiving the puppy).

At the time of shipping your puppy will include the following.

  • A veterinarian’s health certificate stating that the puppy is healthy.
  • A chart of all the vaccinations that the puppy has received, all the puppies are current on their vaccines and have been de-wormed.
  • A puppy information folder with a photo of your puppy.
  • Microchip- Most puppies are microchipped. Microchips are one of the best ways to protect your pet in case they are lost or stolen. A small chip the size of a grain of rice which contains a unique number allows shelters to contact you if your pet is ever lost.
  • Microchip enrollment form- For the puppies that are microchipped, an enrollment form will also be included. At the time of sale, the microchips are registered under Just Paws Pets. Once the form has been filled out, the chip will be changed under the new name.
  • Registration papers- Most puppies will come with their registration papers. If not received with the puppy, they will be mailed to you.
  • For some of the puppies, a family tree will also be included which traces the lineage back 4 generations.
  • Copies of the signed contracts.
  • A free bag of dog fodd.

Don’t forget to add a puppy starter kit that comes with everything you need for your new pup.
